1. How do I dispose of my old mattress?

   We include free mattress removal for those who are located in certain areas of Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane. Once you’ve ordered your mattress, if you’re in our service area you’ll automatically get an email asking if you would like to schedule a free pickup of your old mattress.

2. How about those nasty chemicals often found in mattresses?

   You can sleep easy knowing we’ve crafted the Sleeptime mattress so it doesn’t contain formaldehyde or other nasty chemicals.

3. What type of bed base should I use with my Sleeptime mattress?

   Any bed base you like, providing it has adequate support and ventilation. If you’ve got a slat base, the slats shouldn’t be any further then 8cm apart. Some bed frames are made smaller then others, but the mattress can squeeze into most of the smallest of bed frames, so long as the base is less then around 3cm smaller than your mattress. We just don’t recommend using it on the floor, as it prohibits air flow, and could lead to mould or other damage.

4. I’ve got an adjustable base, will it work on it?

   Great news, the Sleeptime mattress was originally crafted for the adjustable base, Using it on an adjustable base is exactly what it was designed to do.

5. How do I clean the mattress cover?

   Its super easy to clean, just unzip the cover, put it in the washing machine, on delicate for a cold water wash, then put it over your clothes line to dry. Just ensure its completely dry before you put it back on your mattress.

6. Should I use a mattress protector?

   Absolutely, we recommend the use of a quality mattress protector to ensure the longevity and durability of your mattress. A quality mattress protector help keep your mattress hygienic, and in top condition.

7. I’m big boned! How much weight can it handle?

   Our mattresses are crafted to distribute weight evenly, providing optimal support for people of all shapes and sizes. 8. How about recycling the packaging?

   Easy, just dispose of the carboard box in your recycling bin at home, and use the plastic sleeve to cover your old mattress when you dispose of it.

9. Is it safe to use an electric blanket with it?

   Sure it! Our mattress is fire retardant for your peace of mind.

10. What’s it made from?

    The 13cm firm supporting foam base has air flow ventilation channels, it’s complimented by 2 individual 5cm layers of high density memory foam, and with cooling gel crystals infused through one side meaning your mattress breathes better, and you sleep cooler.

11. Can I sleep on it straight away?

    You sure can, once you unpackage your mattress, its good to sleep on straight away.Seeing the mattress is compressed for ease of shipping, it can take up to 72 hours for the mattress to bounce back to the perfect shape and size, filling in all the corners of the mattress, but its perfectly ok to sleep on straight away. And the best part, the compressing of the mattress reduces the likelihood of body impressions, and helps with the longevity of your mattress.
